Sales

We can supply and an install split systems or we can install the split system you have purchased from else-where. Split systems are normally reverse cycle heat and cool. It is false economy to buy a cooling only system.

Splits come in single and multi head. We install both single head or multi head system, both type of systems are suitable in different situations.

The main service for splits is to keep the filters clean, we recommend at least once a month.

It is important that aircon must be sized correctly, Example factors that must be taken into consideration are :

  1. Size of room.
  2. Proximity in the house in relation to where the sun rises and sets.
  3. Position of windows, size and quantity.
  4. As rule of thumb 1kw will do 1 square of conditioning.
  5. Also biggest is not always the best in cooling.

We have offer a fixed price for the installation of an aircon, this fixed price relates to a "back to back" installation. See diagram on installation page.

We like to fix things, if repair cost is not too much or if it's not near equals to a new unit as that is not worth to repair even if the cost os 50 of the new system as new system comes with better energy efficiency and with 5 year warranty. in our throw away world it is getting harder to do this. Air conditioner part are often expensive, that makes it really hard to keep repair cost lower.

Please be aware that cheap is generally junk.

On the up side there is some amazing technology entering the market place, just amazing in the reduced size of appliances and still do the same job quieter and cheaper to run.

When purchasing your air conditioning system with installation, our prices are based on a back to back install. THE BACK TO BACK INSTALLATION refers to a split system that has two major components – a wall mounted indoor unit with refrigeration pipes that run through the wall and straight down to the condenser unit positioned directly below – hence the name Back to Back. Your installation may be a standard Back to Back or you may need extra piping so the unit is installed in your preferred position. Below is an example of a back to back install.

*WHEN PURCHASING INSTALLATION OUR OFFICE WILL PROMPTLY RESPOND IN BOOKING IN A INSTALLATION DATE.

A back to back installation includes

  • ￫ Outdoor unit positioned on concrete slab , pvc mounting blocks, or rubber feet.
  • ￫ 3 meters of refrigeration piping and interconnecting cable.
  • ￫ Includes 1 Length duct cover (2.4meters).
  • ￫ Please note this does not include meter board upgrade (this can be quoted separately).
